The degree of salt water is determined by TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), which mainly has the following reference values
Slight: 1000 to 3000 ppm TDS
Salty: 3000 to 10000 ppm TDS
High: 10000 to 15000ppm TDS
Generally, the content of fresh water for industrial use is less than 1000ppm, and TDS less than 500ppm is safe for human consumption. This makes brackish water unusable for industrial purposes. But with reverse osmosis (RO), businesses can change all that. Drip volumes below 1000 ppm are possible.
